Repairing Rainbows Counselling and Psychotherapy Services

Location: 66 Centre Street, Thornhill

Life can change in an instant, with unexpected and expected loss, challenges and difficulties. Some people need help and support when hit with any type of unwanted or unforeseen loss, challenge or difficulty – illness, death, separation, personal relationship issues, self-esteem issues, infertility, infidelity, loss of a job, loss of hope, loss of a dream, loss of trust, loss of being needed. While loss and tribulations are a natural part of life, when feeling heartbroken and trying to navigate through this new terrain, life can be very painful, confusing, overwhelming, exhausting and frightening. I want to ensure that people have access to compassionate and professional support, in a safe, trusting, respectful and caring therapeutic relationship, so they can survive and even thrive while learning to heal and grow. I believe that sensitivity, awareness and empathy are important characteristics of an effective therapist. In addition to professional qualifications as a therapist, I bring extensive life experience and first-hand knowledge about dealing with trauma and loss. In order to reach a wide range of people in various locations, I also offer phone therapy. From the comfort of your home, we can work together almost as effectively as sitting together face-to-face.

My office is located on Centre Street in Thornhill, near Yonge Street. There is plenty of parking available, and its central location offers easy access via public transportation.
